I went to Truva with my family and friends and their service was top tier. We walked in with a party of 5 and got seated immediately considering how busy they were. They were quick and helpful on telling us things we didn't understand on the menu. I definitely recommend the Mixxed Appetizer. Very clean and had outlets behind the bench, just in case .

Truva never misses, hands down the best Turkish food in nyc. Staff is great and they're very accommodating for families. Also, service is very quick.

Ordered: Truva Breakfast (~$26): variety of cheeses, beef salami and sausage, olives, arugula, served with a pot of Turkish tea Kassheri Pide (~$14): thick dough crust stuffed with mozzarella cheese Spinach Pide (~$16): thick dough crust stuffed with spinach, mozzarella cheese, and mixed vegetables Spinach Tarator (~$9): fresh spinach sautéed with white onions, garlic yogurt, walnut, and olive oil Simit aka Turkish Bagel (~$4) Aya's take: Truva is one of the only places in Astoria where you can get a light Mediterranean style breakfast. We stopped by one morning on a day they were busier than usual (due to a football/soccer game), nonetheless, service wasn't too slow. The Turkish tea is warm, rich, and soothing, and I loved the variety of cheeses and beef sausage. The cheeses with the honey were absolutely delicious together! Both Pides were fresh and savory; I think I liked the Kassheri one just a bit more. Overall, really solid breakfast - definitely recommend!

We went to Truva for our 2nd time. We arrived around 9pm on a Friday. We were seated immediately. We ordered the appetizer smaller the mixed grill and the falafel which we had never tried before. Hands down the best falafel I have ever tasted. We will definitely visit Attica again. Service was fast and courteous prices are reasonable and food is delish. I highly recommend this business.

There is plenty of parking in the area if you're driving in. There is plenty of seating indoors with a wonderful backyard as well. I liked the ambiance it is very family friendly. they even showed the Arsenal match against Porto in the UCL cup! The food is fantastic i got pide it was my first time and it tasted very healthy as well as the babaganoush. it was okay they gave a lot of bread with it the mixed grill was awesome it has an assortment of meats that was very filling and perfect for 2 people. i over ordered too much food. the service is polite and attentive! 10/10 A+ will go back and you should too!

Hands down my favorite Turkish spot in all of NYC. This was my pandemic safe haven and something I looked forward to every week! One of the few spots that actually has lahmacun and it's the best. It was my first time having it here before I had it on Turkey and it's as good as the real thing. Love their outdoor patio as well.

Truva has been sitting in my bookmarks for a while; I don't remember what led to it landing there, but several of my Yelp friends have been here and left good reviews so it was there for good reason. Anyway, I had a work meeting in Queens this past week and we got food from here. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to finally check out Truva for myself and see what all the praise was about. Truva specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, and looking over the menu they had a good variety of dishes including soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches, wraps, and mains. There is obvious Greek influence in the menu, but it also draws from other countries in the vicinity (namely Turkey). Because this was a lunch and learn, there was a wide variety of dishes ordered for us to choose from: penne with marinara sauce, chicken and lamb gyros, falafel, plenty of pita, and dips to share. I tried their chicken gyro meat along with some hummus, tzatziki, falafel, and a smidge of the pasta. The food was good - everything had good flavor and was very fresh. I especially thought the gyro meat was good - there's always a risk of it being overly salty but theirs was just right. The falafel was also a standout - again not overly salty and maintained its integrity despite being served family style. Overall, I was impressed with Truva's offerings. They have a lot of competition in the area, but they deliver the goods and I would have no qualms returning to try more of their menu.

As my fellow yelpers know I never throw out a 5 stare rating until after I really explored their menu but this place hit the spot and it was for take out not dining in ... We were working in the area this evening Saturday 2/4/23 around 6:20 pm and I was graving some real grilled meats for some good protein; FYI, to y'all I'm officially down 130 lbs and when your body calls for a good hot cooked meat ya best get some & eat it and so I did ... This restaurant is always busy & buzzing; they have all the Mediterranean real deal home made food over here !! I opted for the baby lamb chops cooked medium served over white rice along with a grilled 1/2 tomato and one long grilled hot pepper also a very delicious side salad mixed greens with some Red cabbage in their house lemon vinaigrette dressing was delicious & refreshing to the palate !! $ 30.00 bucks; thought it was well worth it for real cooked authentic meal definitely hit the spot ... Also came with home made flat bread with sesame seeds on it, smelled delicious but I couldn't eat it Carbs so I gave it to my coworker who woofed it down & said it was delicious !! The restaurant was super clean as well as their dining room; the staff was very friendly and accommodating to my needs & questions ... I will definitely return again to dine in with the family to explorer their menu some more; maybe their Ribeye steak next time ... Highly recommend giving this place a try ... Thanks, Greg D.
